Hydraulic Motors
Hydraulic System TheoryThe hydraulic system theory was derived by the great scientist by the name of Henry Pascal. The hydraulic system ..... The hydraulic motor will convert the hydraulic pressure in to a rotary mechanical motion. The hydraulic motors are used in naval aircrafts. The hydraulic motor has the speed in rpm. For example if the motor has 1020rpm it flows 227 lpm, pressure up to 3500 psi and torque up to 334 danm. The hydraulic motors are commonly used in the wing flaps and radar equipment. The hydraulic motor can be rotated in any direction.
The hydraulic motor's rotation direction can be operated or controlled by the flow to the valve plate ports. The direction of rotation can be reversed easily without damaging the motors. The direction of the hydraulic motor can be controlled by a selector valve. The selector will direct the flow of fluid. There are three types of selector in the hydraulic motors they are poppet valve, slide valve and solenoid operated valves. The selector valve directs the fluid under pressure to the desired port. The same time it returns the fluid from opposite working port of the unit to the reservoir. The hydraulic motors are same like piston pump type motors.
Hydraulic PumpsThere are two things that occur when hydraulic pumps are started. The mechanical action inside the pump will .....
The hydraulic motor is the reverse process of the hydraulic pump. They are in the hydraulic pump the operations begin when the shaft is rotated and the fluid gets in to the port and force out with a pressure. This process is reversed in hydraulic motors. By allowing the fluid to go directly to the one of the port and the fluids pressure and force will help to rotate the shaft. Then the fluid will come out from the other port and then return to first port where the fluid entered.
The rotary mechanical force will be provided by the motor. That is used to drive a gearbox, jack screw or torque tube. The hydraulic motor doesn't need maintenance because most of the hydraulic motor will be self-lubricating. We don't need visual inspection for leakage. If we are doing the maintenance for the hydraulic motor then we should follow the manual for instruction contained in it. The hydraulic motor will be having a stub tooth spline, which is suitable for engagement into the mechanical linkage of the unit. In hydraulic motor there are many types, which depend upon the number of cylinders. For example a hydraulic motor is having nine cylinders in it. Then it will be having fixed stroke motor in it and it will be self lubricating so there won't be any leakage in that.
